For anyone wishing to attend Wednesday group, please note that on occasion the Lamar venue is unavailable and the group meets at an alternate site. Prospective members (to the critique group, not Heartland Writers) should plan to visit a couple of times to see how the group functions before having a manuscript read. For more information regarding Wednesday group, contact moderator Judy Hyde.

Heartland Writers for Kids and Teens members who are not able to meet on Wednesdays are welcome to form smaller critique groups in the evening or on weekends. On occasion, Heartland Writers has a group-wide critique event especially for those members who don’t belong to any satellite critique group.  Heartland Writers for Kids and Teens also has an online ListServ chat room where members can post questions and keep up with the latest news.
