Elise Howard of Algonquin Young Readers has acquired a middle grade mystery series by Elizabeth C. Bunce, beginning with PREMEDITATED MYRTLE, in a four-book pre-empt. Pitched as Miss Fisher or Flavia de Luce for tweens, the series follows an irrepressible 12-year-old protagonist and her adventures in Victorian criminology, and will launch in Spring 2020.
