Congratulations, Traci Sorell!

Karen Boss at Charlesbridge has acquired world rights to We Are Grateful: Otsaliheliga by debut author, Traci Sorell, an enrolled citizen of the Cherokee Nation. The picture book features the universal spirit of gratitude as experienced through modern Cherokee culture across the four seasons. Frané Lessac will illustrate; publication is set for fall 2018. The author represented herself, and Marcia Wernick at Wernick & Pratt represented the artist.
