Critique Groups

Weekly: Wednesday mornings (times vary)

Meets at various JoCo library branches
Heartland Writers for Kids and Teens has a long-standing critique group that meets on Wednesday mornings. Wednesday Group is open to writers (published or unpublished, beginner or experienced) of children’s literature. For anyone wishing to attend Wednesday Group, please note that the group is nomadic, meeting at various JoCo library branches (usually the JoCo Central Resource Library). Times vary per week: either 9:30-11:30 or 10:00-Noon. Prospective members (to the critique group, not Heartland Writers) should plan to visit a couple of times to see how the group functions before having a manuscript read. For more information regarding Wednesday group, contact moderator Judy Hyde. [NOTE: this group is currently full]
